Abstract

Individual protective case or cover for cymbals: individual case for cymbals. Protects the cymbal even when it is installed on its stand and may be removed without having to remove the cymbal or the nut holding the cymbal to its stand. It is a circular bag made of any type of fabric, vinyl, leather, plastic or flexible or semi-rigid material, made to fit each cymbal, to protect it. The bag or case has a radial aperture that runs from the top centre to the bottom centre — passing around the circumference — for accessing the cymbal, covering it completely. The main feature of this cover or case is that the cymbal can be installed on or removed from its stand, without removing the individual bag or case, to keep the cymbal protected at all times, in particular from human contact. The individual cover or case for cymbals, to which this invention relates, is an individual bag or cover for each cymbal that may be used with any existing type of cymbal case or cymbal bag, whether flexible or rigid and with or without centre guide, without having to remove the individual cymbal cover or case. It is also used to install the cymbals on their stands or remove them or also as protection when they are not being used thus preventing the cymbals being handled directly and protecting them from dust and particles.

INDIVIDUAL PROTECTIVE CASE FOR MUSICAL DISHES

DESCRIPTION OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The individual protective case for musical dishes, object of the present invention, is an individual bag or cover for each musical dish, also known as dishes or cymbals, which has a radial opening and can be used together with any type of cymbal cases or bags of existing dishes, whether flexible or rigid with or without a guide center, without the need to be removing the individual case or case for saucers. It is also used to install the dishes in their bases or lecterns or uninstall them or also as protection when they are not being used thus avoiding direct contact of the hands with the saucers and also protecting them from dust and particles.

BACKGROUND

The experts in percussion instruments know that the drum dishes are very delicate pieces, sensitive to touch and that they get stained or dirty very easily and it is very difficult to preserve them with their original brightness and sounds. One of the factors that most affect a musical dish is the body fat that is left on the surface of the dishes when handling them, either at the time of putting them or removing them from their base (music stand) and that over time they blacken and dulling, giving as a result, a less bright and less symphonic sound. A dirty dish has a more opaque sound than a clean dish.

Until now, the solution to install the cymbals in their bases (lecterns) is to wear gloves, wear a flannel so as not to touch them or simply not use anything and clean them from time to time, which is the most common. In practice it is usual for musicians, and in this case drummers, to mount all the instruments on the stage hours before the performance, it is also normal that between songs or group of songs be given to recesses and it is also common that schedule presentations for several days during which instruments are left on stage; This causes that there are long periods during which the instruments remain unused, exposed to dust, moisture and eventual contact with people outside them, whether cleaning staff, production staff, environment, etc.

To solve these problems many drummers cover their dishes with a sheet so that the dust does not settle on them, others put individual flannels on each dish after playing, this is better than until now, one can do to keep their Cleaner and brighter dishes. Unfortunately on many occasions, flannels fly with the air, or remove them to clean the drums or simply the cleaning person takes them.

There are cases or bags for dishes to keep them and thus to keep them clean, there are also some individual cases or cases, however these cases are intended to make storage safe, and easier to transport the dishes or cymbals, more than The protection thereof. They are designed to contain several dishes and also once the battery is mounted these cases are useless, since they are not designed to be used with the dish or cymbal mounted on its music stand or base. There are also individual bags for each dish but they are also not designed to be mounted and disassembled without removing the dish.

With the individual protective case for dishes which, object of the present invention, all these problems related to the care of the dishes are completely satisfied. This invention is the only individual case for cymbals or cymbals, which in addition to being able to be used to install, uninstall, load the saucer individually and manipulate it in different ways, this case allows to mount the paltillo or cymbal in the battery without having to remove it. It is the only case or case that has radial opening, since those that exist only have an opening in its circumference or on one of its sides. With this invention we avoid: touching the saucer with your fingers when installing it, uninstalling it, accommodating it, cleaning it (since this case also serves us to do surface cleaning) and we achieve an extremely useful tool that covers a need that has not yet been covered: The protection of the musical dish or cymbal that goes from the case or storage bag to the installation of the dish or cymbal. When we stop using the saucers, we can leave them in their bases (the fully assembled battery), without the need to remove any nut to secure them and put our cover or case in each of the dishes to protect them.

The individual protective case for dishes, object of the present invention, is the best solution so far to keep the dishes clean and bright free of any dust or grease that until now are unavoidable when handling them, you can even manage not to touch with your fingers your dishes never again, so that these are as new as time goes by. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The individual protective case for cymbals is a circular bag that completely covers the dish made of a wide variety of materials such as: flannel, vinyl-leather, leather, polyester, all kinds of thick, thin fabrics, vinyl or hollowed fabrics. It can also be manufactured from any semi-rigid material (Figure 1 A).

The case includes a label of measures and variable forms depending on what the user wants, usually in white, this label can be written with any pen or marker for identification of the dishes. This label can be cooked or pasted by sublimation, the materials can be vinyl or any material where writing is facilitated (Figure 1 B).

The case comprises a closure (optional) as a belt or tape in the circumference between 2 "to 15" (Figure 2 J) - this measure may vary depending on the dimensions of the case and user requirements - which is tied one end to another of the radial opening and can be joined or closed using various fastening means such as sailboat, hook clasp, pressure button, eyelet button or any type of button or any type of harness, with eyelets and laces, even magnetically when adapting magnets to the case closure. The radial opening of the case (figure 1 D) comprises an eyebrow, brow or flap, in which a closure can be adapted as a means of fastening which can be magnetic closure, by means of sailboat, zipper, rope, with eyelets and laces, any type of button, any type of harness or hooks or closure (Figure 2 C) or any fastening means known for this purpose. The closure is optional and thus the case may lack it. The radial closure can go from the upper central hole to the lower central hole through a point of the circumference and forming a single closure that goes from upper center to lower center.

The case may contain additional bags at the top and / or bottom, to serve as a compartment to store small items such as pads, tuning keys, screws, flannels, cleaning fluids, etc. (Figure 2 B).

In the central hole and along the opening both upper and lower, the cooking or the rack of this can be simple (only rack), on spinning, both or nothing (if the material thus allows it as tarpaulin, canvas or waterproof plastic ). There is the option of being able to reinforce it with a double rod (Figure 2 G) or it can have double fabric or patch to improve its durability and resistance.

The design of the rods as well as the quantity of rods, can vary in thickness, shape, quantity, leaving any change in the design of the rods to free choice. The rods can be used only on one side of the individual protective case for saucers.

The individual protective case, object of the present invention can be presented in the following modalities:

Made of plastic bag of any transparent or colored gauge or any disposable tapered material (Figure 10). - Made from any material with or without serigraphy or customized, with or without rods for easy opening (Figure 13)

With handles, reinforcements, belts for loading, custom prints, etc.

The individual case for cymbals is a circular bag or a case with the shape of the dish (round or oval) and tailored to each dish to fully protect it. It is opened (manually) to insert the dish, the dish is stored and the bag is closed for transport, installation or storage.

Claims

CLAIMS Having described my invention sufficiently, I consider it as a novelty and therefore as much as my exclusive property, the content of the following clauses:

1.
