Abstract

The present invention is a method of an investor recruitment using game items, more particularly a method that a gamer is both a user and an investor by allotting the shares of a game developer to the gamer according to the purchasing price of the game items. The gamer enjoys the game more according to the active advertising of the game and the increase of purchase money of the game items, and makes an extra profit by the increase of the number of the shares, the stock price and the dividend. Moreover, the game developer can secure the development cost by income-increasing as a result of growth of purchasing of the game items.

Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a method of an investor recruitment using game items, more particularly a method of an investor recruitment using game items for gamers to not only purchase items of computer game developed by game developer to use for raising the chance to win the game at the battle or playing more various games, but also be investors (shareholders) of a game-related company as well as users by allotting shares of game-related company to gamers according to the purchase money of gamers. [2] Recently wire/wireless telecommunication technology like computer or internet technology is being developed fast and the game industry is also growing, so that many computer users play games through the internet. As many users play particular online- games, those game items are constantly being developed.
[3] The previous game items were used many ways to beat other users by increasing power or level of the game, or to play various games.
[4] The conventional method to purchase the game items is to pay in cash, by credit card, by cellular phone or by mileages. Some gamers purchase particular items expensively, or a winner takes the item from a loser. Someone spends a lot of time on playing a game to rank high in the game, and sometimes ends up being a professional gamer.
[5] However, even though a gamer purchases game items expensively or takes through game battles, if the game item disappears, the gamer has to sell items very cheap, or the items become useless, so that the gamer loses his money and effort.
[6] Also, as there is no standard for pricing game items, some gamers may purchase game items with too high price, which subject the trading market of game items to be negatively considered.
[7] In addition, game developer must invest a lot to independently develop or maintain the game and the items. For example, there are advertising cost, bug-correction, development of succeeding games, upgrading of game program, item development, and extension of a server for users of on-line games.
[8] Since it is not obvious for new or small game development companies to succeed in games, it is tough for them to get investment for constant maintenance, so they are not able to develop high-quality games and items. [9] Also, even though a small game development company succeeds in a game, it is a pressure for them to get huge investment to develop succeeding the game.
[10] The said game developer means a general term for a game-related company that develops or distributes games, like a game publishing company, as well as a company which actually develop a game. The present invention can apply to an affiliate including a game publishing company as well as a game development company, but those are all called as a game developer below. [13] In order to solve the said technical problem, the present invention includes the step of the game and item-developing in which the game developer develops the game and the game items through computer program; the step of recruiting purchasers of the game items in which the game developer recruits the purchaser of the game item by the way that the game developer or the financial company issues stock of the game items and posts the game, the game items and the stock price on the internet based on wire/ wireless telecommunication network for gamers to read; and the step of allotting the game items and the shares in which if a gamer who wants to purchase the game items inputs his personal information through a terminal connected on the internet, and purchases the game items by one of purchasing ways including real-time automatic withdrawal, credit care and mileages of the internet, a gamer takes the shares based on the purchase money of the game item, and checks on the homepage of the financial company in real-time; and is characterized in that the gamer plays the game using the game items by a terminal connected by the internet and trades the game items based on the result of game battles, and the shares which the gamer holds corresponding to the game items are able to be traded. [14] The shares of the game developer allotted to gamers who purchase the said game items can be the initially issued shares equivalent to the foundation capital if the game developer is not established as a corporation, or can be the additionally issued shares by increasing the capital if the game developer is established as a corporation.
[15] The allotted shares can be managed by the game developer or by the financial company or the Korea Securities Depository by contracting with either the financial company or the Korea Securities Depository which conducts the stock business in order to provide the stable management and the systematic service of the shares or the securities corresponding to those. In this case, the shares of the name of the game developer can be transferred to the name of the gamer that purchases the game items by the said managers.
[16] Furthermore, the shares that the gamer takes by purchasing the game items can be traded by using the known ways including trade through the financial company or the third market which trades unlisted shares, or trade of unlisted shares in the private money market. If the game developer is a listed company or becomes a listed company after the game service, the shares can be traded by the trading market like the stock exchange market, the KOSDAQ(Korea Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) market, etc.

[17] According to the game item trading method by using the shares of the present invention, when the gamer purchases the game items, he is allotted the game developer's shares worthy of those, so that he is a user and an investor of the game developer. Therefore, the gamer would make an effort to succeed in the game, so the chance for succeeding in the game could be much higher. Also, if the game is successful, consequently the shares is extended, the additional and substantial profit by selling the shares and the allotment can be expected.
[18] Moreover, the game developer cannot be sure whether the game is successful or not, but the investment capital increases as the game items are more purchased, then the game developer secures huge development cost that is required for development of the following game or various items, or extension of server, and reduces the risk. Meanwhile, marketing cost of the game can be cut by voluntary advertising of the gamers. As a result, the game developer is able to develop the high-quality game by actively investing in developing the game. [1] A method of an investor recruitment using game items, comprising the step that a game developer develops a game and required game items through a computer program; the step of game items purchaser recruitment that the game developer or a financial company linked with the game developer issues the shares corresponding to the game items, posts the stock price as well as the game and the game items on the website based on a wire/wireless telecommunication network for the gamer to read those; and the step of allotment of the game items and the shares that the gamer inputs a personal information through a terminal connected to the website, purchases the game items in cash, by credit card or by mileages of the website in real-time, and the gamer can check the shares allotted in proportion to the purchasing price of the game items on the homepage of the game developer or the related- financial company; characterized in that the gamer trades the game items according to the result of the battle while he plays the game using the game items and the terminal connected to the website, and the shares of the gamer corresponding to the game items can be traded.
[2] The method of an investor recruitment using game items according the claim 1, wherein the shares corresponding to the game items are the part of the shares which the game developer holds, or the shares which are issued for an additional capital-increase.
[3] The method of an investor recruitment using game items according the claim 1, wherein the dividend for the gamer is paid after the settlement of the shares which the gamer holds.
