Abstract

The invention relates to a combustion device for combusting liquid fuel, comprising a liquid fuel reservoir (50), at least one wick holder (38) for holding the wicks (39). A regulator knob (15) is connected to one end of a rod (25), which passes through a toothed pinion gear (26). A fuel cap (8) is provided with a safety lever handle (28) which in turn operates a safety lever (27), which is pivotally connected to a safety pin plates (31 ) and (23) located on an upper surface of side (35). If the fuel cap (8) is closed, a end (27a) of the safety lever (27) remote from the fuel cap (8) lies a short distance above a nose (48) of a stopping device (20).
