Abstract

An engagement system (1) for display units comprises a hook element (16) which is fixed firmly to a display unit (2) and a support element (3) which is outside the display unit and in which a seat (26) is formed that can be engaged by the hook element in order to engage the display unit on the support element. The engagement system comprises a safety device (30) which is fixed firmly to the display unit and is movable between a first, non- operative position in which it does not interfere with the movement of the hook element away from and towards the seat (26), and a second, operative position in which movement of the hook element so as to be released from the seat is prevented by the abutment of the safety device against the support element. Resilient means (32) act on the safety device in order to urge the safety device towards the second, operative position.
