Abstract

The present invention provides an ethanol extract of mastic and a method for extracting same. The extract of the present invention has a lower toxicity than that of well-known mastic, and has excellent cell regeneration effects and anticancer effects. The extract of the present invention is extracted in ethanol, a solvent which is harmless to a human body, and which has high aqueous solubility, thus making it possible to use the extract of the present invention as additives to drugs, foods, cosmetics, and the like.
