Abstract

L'invention concerne un obturateur automatique multifréquence à rotation permettant de déterminer la vitesse angulaire de n'importe quel objet visible dans la voûte céleste depuis un lieu déterminé sur terre. Lorsque des images de ce même objet sont prises depuis deux lieux géographiques suffisamment distants, il est également possible d'en déterminer la trajectoire, la vitesse réelle et le lieu d'impact sur la surface terrestre, ce qui facilite considérablement la recherche de restes de météorites. L'objet de l'invention est constitué par une hélice métallique rotative qui comprend une pluralité de pales et qui est disposée entre un objectif et un détecteur CCD de façon que les pales bloquent périodiquement les images projetées. Cette hélice est logée dans un boîtier métallique comportant une surface supérieure présentant un premier orifice dans lequel l'objectif est fixé, ainsi qu'une surface inférieure présentant un second orifice qui est opposé au premier orifice et dans lequel le détecteur CCD est fixé.
