Abstract

The application relates to a unit (1601-1605) for accommodation of at least one member of an aircraft crew, wherein the unit is designed such that it can be arranged in a crew rest compartment in an aircraft, wherein the unit (1601-1605) has first means, second means and third means for varying the volume of the unit, wherein the unit comprises: a facility for the member of the aircraft crew to lie down, wherein the facility to lie down has first means for moving the facility to lie down, a front panel, wherein the front panel has second means for moving the front panel, and a side wall, wherein the side wall has third means for moving the side wall.
