Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for preparing optically pure lactide using an enzyme conversion reaction. In detail, the present invention relates to a method for preparing optically pure lactide by using an enzyme that uses, as a substrate, only one type of enantiometer from among optically impure lactic acid or alkyl lactate. The optically pure lactide prepared according to the present invention is useful in industry as the physical property of the copolymer polymerized by said lactide is far superior to the physical property of the copolymer polymerized by optically impure lactide.
