Preferably, the sugar may be one or more selected from a group consisting of lactose, glucose, xylitol, fructose, isomalt, sucralose, cellulose and erythritol, although not limited thereto. And, preferably, the additive may be one or more selected from a group consisting of enzymatically modified stevioside, magnesium stearate, organic acid calcium salt produced by fermentation, citric acid, folic acid, strawberry powder flavor, araliaceous flavor, strawberry flavor, yogurt flavor and whey calcium, although not limited thereto.
Preferably, the mixing in (d) may be performed by mixing 0.1 to 5.0 wt% of
Acanthopanax sessiliflorus extract powder with 0.1 to 5.0 wt% of vitamin C,
0.001 to 0.01 wt% of vitamin Bi, 0.001 to 0.01 wt% of vitamin B2, 0.001 to
0.01 wt% of vitamin B6, 65.0 to 95.0 wt% of a sugar and 4.0 to 25.0 wt% of an additive, based on the total weight (see <Example 1-2>), although not limited thereto.
In particular, when the content of the Acanthopanax sessiliflorus extract powder exceeds the aforesaid range, the table may be inappropriate for taking because of the strong flavor and odor characteristic of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus. And, if it is included in an amount below the aforesaid range, the effect of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus may not be attained. Hence, the aforesaid range is preferred.
Vitamin B or vitamin C is included because they need to be taken on a daily basis since they are water-soluble and not stored in the body. Especially, since vitamin B provides sweet flavor and vitamin C provides sour flavor, in general, they can mitigate the characteristic flavor and odor of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus. In addition, the sugar may be added to further enhance the sweet flavor.
The tablet making in (e) may be performed by shaping and compressing the mixture prepared in (d) into a tablet (see <Example 1-2>).
The tablet containing Acanthopanax sessiliflorus and vitamin in accordance with the present invention provides maintenance and improvement of health through enhancement of physical functions, restoration of physiological functions, enhancement of immunity, recovery from fatigue, activation of metabolism, or the like, provided by Acanthopanax sessiliflorus. As Acanthopanax sessiliflorus and vitamin are prepared into a tablet using a sugar, it can be easily taken and carried by people of all ages and both sexes. Further, since Acanthopanax sessiliflorus is included in the form of extract powder, the characteristic flavor and odor of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus are mitigated.
Mode for Invention
The examples will now be described. The following examples are for illustrative purposes only and not intended to limit the scope of this disclosure.
<Example 1>
Preparation of tablet containing Acanthopanax sessiliflorus and vitamin <1-1> Preparation of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus extract powder The stem, leaf, fruit or root of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus was cut to an adequate size, immersed in about 10 times the volume of water. Then, hot water extraction was performed at 100 0C for 4 hours. The hot water extract was filtered through a cartridge filter. The filtrate was concentrated using a continuous concentrator and then dried using a vacuum dryer. The dried extract was ground using a commonly used grinder into fine powder having a final particle size of about 80 mesh.
<1-2> Preparation of tablet containing Acanthopanax sessiliflorus and vitamin
The Acanthopanax sessiliflorus extract powder prepared in <Example 1-1> was mixed with vitamin C, vitamin B-i, vitamin B2 and vitamin Be and prepared into a tablet containing Acanthopanax sessiliflorus and vitamin. Specifically, the Acanthopanax sessiliflorus extract powder, vitamin C, vitamin Bi, vitamin B2 and vitamin B6 were mixed at a proportion of 0.1 to 5.0 wt%, 0.1 to 5.0 wt%, 0.001 to 0.01 wt%, 0.001 to 0.01 wt% and 0.001 to 0.01 wt%, based on the total weight. Then, after adding 65.0 to 95.0 wt% of sugar and other additives, followed by mixing, the mixture was prepared into a tablet containing Acanthopanax sessiliflorus and vitamin. The sugar included lactose, glucose, xylitol, fructose, isomalt, sucralose, cellulose, erythritol, etc. and the additive included acidulant, flavor, etc. Specifically, enzymatically modified stevioside, magnesium stearate, organic acid calcium salt produced by fermentation, citric acid, folic acid, strawberry powder flavor, araliaceous flavor, strawberry flavor, yogurt flavor, whey calcium, etc. were used.
