Abstract

The present application relates to a control system (21 ) for a heat pump (3). The control system (21 ) comprises means for determining a dew point. The means for determining the dew point may include a temperature sensor (23), a relative humidity sensor (25) and a processor for determining the dew point based on the measured temperature and relative humidity. A control signal generator is provided for generating a signal to control the heat pump (3) based on the determined dew point. The present application also relates to a method of operating a heat pump (3). Furthermore, the present application relates to a heat transfer system (1 ) comprising a control system (21 ) for controlling a heat pump (3) based on a determined dew point.
