Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen LED-basierenden Beleuchtungskörper (1), der mehrere Module (2) umfasst, wobei jedes dieser Module (2) jeweils ein optisches System (3) zur Aufnahme einer LED-Trägerplatine (8) mit zumindest einer darauf angeordneten LED (5), einen Reflektor (6) sowie eine lichttransparente Abdeckung (4) aufweist. Der den Lichtaustrittskegel der LED (5) überspannende Reflektor (6) ist mit Facetten (6.1) ausgebildet, wobei die einzelnen Facetten (6.1) sich zu einer geschlossenen, kontinuierlich verlaufenden optischen Funktionsfläche ergänzen und sich dabei derart in einem bestimmten Winkel zueinander erstrecken, dass das von der LED (5) emittierte Licht im Wesentlichen über die Facetten (6.1) des Reflektors (6) zur Lichtnutzebene gelenkt wird.
