Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour la gestion et la régulation de ressources informatiques à distance. Le procédé et l'appareil créent et entretiennent un modèle de données hiérarchiques pour déterminer les caractéristiques et l'état d'une ressource informatique à distance particulière afin de garantir que le système de commande le plus approprié est utilisé pour gérer cette ressource informatique à distance particulière. Le modèle de données utilisé trie et classifie les ressources informatiques à distance par groupes puis il attribue les ressources provenant de ces groupes à des utilisateurs en fonction des droits et des besoins des utilisateurs ainsi que des caractéristiques des ressources informatiques à l'intérieur de chaque groupe. L'état de la ressource informatique à distance est suivi et se modifie automatiquement en fonction des modifications des variables externes ou en fonction de règles logiques internes.
