Abstract

A cleaner of the present invention means all cleaners including a vacuum cleaner or steam cleaner or combination steam and vacuum cleaner, and the present invention relates to an automatic robot cleaner and a control method thereof. The cleaner comprises a steam generating assembly, a dust intake assembly, a housing comprising the steam generating assembly and dust intake assembly, a lower surface assembly wherein the steam generating assembly and dust intake assembly are respectively connected to a hose thereof, and a movable assembly moving the lower surface assembly. The housing comprises a touch sensing unit, and in the movable assembly at least one pair of wheels with a bi-directional drive motor are installed and allowed to move in four directions (+) or in more directions (*). Furthermore, the automatic robot cleaner comprises a control unit wherein a computer program controlling movement direction of the wheels is installed.
