Abstract

The invention relates to a device intended to be mounted on each of the posts (2) used to support and secure the respective double-wave section (3) of guardrails provided along roads. The device comprises a pair of annular bodies (1) which are fixed around the post (2) at different heights.  In turn, a surrounding outer body (4) made from polymer material is fixed onto the annular bodies (1), such that it can rotate with respect to said bodies (1). Both the annular bodies (1) and the outer body (4) are formed by two halves (5) and (8) respectively, which are fixed to one another using screws.  The outer body (4) includes upper and lower respective flanges (11), between which the annular bodies (1) are located, and, in both cases, bearings (12) are incorporated to favour the rotation of the outer body (4) with respect to the annular bodies (1).

La presente invención, según lo expresa el enunciado de esta memoria descriptiva, se refiere a un dispositivo de protección del impacto en guardarrailes y concretamente de los postes o pies de sujeción de los perfiles horizontales de chapa o similar del tipo bionda. El dispositivo de protección envuelve a la parte libre del mismo, es decir, disponiéndose entre el perfil bionda y el suelo. ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN En la actualidad existen y son extensamente conocidos diferentes elementos y estructuras destinadas a tal fin, con multitud de variantes y diversidad de soluciones técnicas, todas ellas dirigidas a ocultar el perfil en "U" o en "T" tan agresivo que poseen los postes o pies del guardarrail . Entre los antecedentes podemos citar el Modelo de Utilidad n° 20000791 en el que se reivindica un protector de guardarrailes caracterizado porque incorpora en sus extremos unos salientes a modo de valonas que se unen arqueadamente al cuerpo cilindrico. En su interior o superficie en contacto con el pie del guardarrail al que envuelve, existe un regruesado tórico que permite cierto movimiento de giro para rotar respecto al eje del pie del guardarrail, tal como expresa en su cuarta reivindicación.
