  • the injector is in two parts when not ready for use, a very compact and handy device is obtained which easily can be put in a handbag for example. Further, during use, the user holds the two compartment housing, which provides a better and more comfortable grip than an ordinary tubular housing.
  • the housing is used as a part of the injector when it is to be used, thereby requiring fewer components.
  • the housing could then be arranged with different automatic functions such as injection. It is also then an advantage that the function cannot be activated until the medicament container holder is properly attached to the housing. Until then an actuation button cannot be depressed.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de délivrance de médicament, qui comprend un boîtier ayant des premier (12) et deuxième (14) compartiments allongés, ledit premier compartiment (12) étant configuré pour stocker un support de récipient de médicament (16) configuré pour supporter un récipient de médicament (18), un élément de délivrance (60) pouvant être fixé à ce récipient de médicaments ; et ledit deuxième compartiment (14) étant configuré pour comprendre des moyens d’actionnement (30) ; caractérisé en ce que lesdits compartiments sont disposés de manière fixe parallèlement l’un à l’autre formant une grande surface de préhension, et en ce que ledit deuxième compartiment comprend en outre des moyens de fixation (52) sur sa surface annulaire interne configurés pour coopérer avec les éléments de fixation correspondant (28) disposés sur la surface annulaire externe dudit support de récipient de médicament, de manière à ce que lesdits moyens d’actionnement (30) soient capables, sous l’effet de l’actionnement, d’expulser une dose de médicament dudit récipient pour médicaments (20) par ledit élément de délivrance (60) après la fixation dudit support de récipient de médicament au dit deuxième compartiment.
