Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un gazéificateur combinant deux réacteurs utilisant une injection de vapeur préchauffée à température élevée générée extérieurement dans le premier réacteur, où la demande de chauffage pour gazéification est envoyée par l’énergie sensible depuis la vapeur. Le gazéificateur peut produire des gaz de synthèse à LCV moyenne et supérieure. Le premier réacteur est une section gazéification à lit fixe où la charge d’alimentation brute est gazéifiée, et le second réacteur est une section gazéification à lit entraîné où la charge d’alimentation liquide et raffinée est gazéifiée. La charge d’alimentation solide brute est dévolatilisée dans le premier réacteur à lit fixe du gazéificateur à l’aide de vapeur à température élevée, puis est, dans le second réacteur, soumise à une température plus élevée suffisante pour fragmenter et détruire les goudrons et les huiles. Du carbone activé peut être formé en tant que coproduit. Le gazéificateur peut être utilisé avec différentes charges d’alimentation solides et liquides. Le gazéificateur peut gazéifier ces différentes charges d’alimentation en même temps.
