Abstract

The present invention relates to a casing for wall-surface illumination and to a light-emitting diode illumination device using the same. A light-emitting diode module (81) comprised in a light-source body (80) is mounted within a casing for wall-surface illumination, in a sunken light-source mounting recess (20) which opens in the length direction. In the light-source mounting recess (20), one side surface in the length direction is provided with a first reflecting part (40) and a second reflecting part (50) for reflecting light in such a way that the light of the light-source body (80) is reflected towards the open portion of the light-source mounting recess (20), while the other side surface is provided with a third reflecting part (60) for reflecting light towards the second reflecting part (50). In this way, the present invention constitutes a device which is useful for the illumination of wall surfaces by propagating the light of the light-emitting diode module (81) via the first reflecting part (40) and the second reflecting part (50) and towards one side.
