Definitions

  • the present provisional application relates to Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminals. More specifically, the present application relates to a LNG trans-shipment terminal with cryogenic tank storage.
  • LNG Liquefied Natural Gas
  • the significant regulations include providing specialty on-loading and off-loading devices. Moreover, such on-loading and off-loading devices are provided on terminals that are placed in very remote areas to minimize the potential for hazards. Such placement of the LNG terminals precludes the terminal from being next to load use centers requiring the influx of LNG. Thus, further transportation is needed for the re-gasified LNG, ultimately driving the delivered cost of natural gas (the re-gasified LNG) higher.
