Abstract

The invention relates to a device for the online control and/or regulation of a fibre-orientation cross-section of a continuous paper or cardboard web in a paper machine comprising a headbox (10) provided with a headbox nozzle (18). The device according to the invention is characterised in that it comprises a measuring device (44) for a segmented online measurement of the fibre-orientation cross-section, in the z direction of the fibrous web, the measuring device (44) being designed such that a separate online measurement of the relative fibre-orientation cross-section is carried out for at least two layers of the fibrous web, and the device according to the invention also comprises adjustment means (12, 34, 36, 46) used to influence the fibre-orientation cross-section of the various layers of the fibrous web preferably at least partially separately.
