Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un dispositif et sur un procédé de commande du point de couleur d'une source de lumière à diodes électroluminescentes (DEL) (50). La commande de point de couleur est une caractéristique de produit extrêmement intéressante pour des sources de lumière à DEL blanches ou de couleur. Les procédés connus de commande de couleur de sources de lumière à DEL rouge-verte-bleue (RGB) utilisent des capteurs de flux et de couleur. Toutefois, la détection de lumière ambiante variant rapidement, de couleurs fortement atténuées, la coordination des mesures avec la commutation des DEL et la commande de la couleur dans des unités de lumière à DEL comprenant un certain nombre de lampes à DEL indépendantes, par exemple des lèche-murs segmentés et des rétroéclairages d'écran à cristaux liquides (LCD) posent des problèmes. La présente invention propose de commander la couleur de la source de lumière à DEL (50) en utilisant une approche directe à base de modèle. Des facteurs liant les paramètres commandant les courants de DEL à la luminosité pour les différentes couleurs (et les différents segments) sont stockés et utilisés pour une commande en boucle ouverte. Une procédure à marche lente mesure et met à jour de façon continue ces facteurs. Tandis que les mesures sont, par exemple, synchronisées avec la modulation d'impulsions en durée (PWM), la procédure peut elle-même s'exécuter considérablement plus lentement et mettre à jour les facteurs de façon asynchrone.
