Abstract

본 발명은 멀티채널 오디오 신호를 송수신하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 멀티채널 오디오 신호를 송신하는 장치는, 멀티채널 오디오 신호를 입력받아 다운믹스 오디오 신호와 부가 신호로 변환하는 멀티채널 오디오 다운믹서부, 복수 개의 부가 신호 프레임을 포함하는 슈퍼 프레임을 생성하는 슈퍼 프레임 생성부 및 슈퍼 프레임을 패킷화하는 패킷화부를 포함하고, 슈퍼 프레임은 슈퍼 프레임에 포함된 부가 신호 프레임의 개수 정보 및 길이 정보를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하면 DMB와 같은 방송 환경에서 데이터 전송률을 낮춤으로써 보다 효율적으로 멀티채널 오디오 신호를 송수신할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
