Definitions
- the invention refers to a radiant heat emission heating system applicable for indoor and outdoor enclosures, capable of having a higher energy efficiency with respect to the heating devices known today.
- the present invention has been developed in order to provide a heating system that solves the aforementioned drawbacks, also providing additional advantages that will be apparent from the description that follows.
- the radiant heat emitted is infrared radiation within a wavelength range between 50-1000 ⁇ m. Thanks to these characteristics, a high efficiency heating system based on infrared radiation is generated that generates heat in a totally different way from the traditional systems mentioned above, allowing energy savings that can reach 30% and up to 50 % in places with high air losses or semi-open spaces, consequently an economic saving, so its energy efficiency is highly profitable.
- the use of infrared radiation also eliminates harmful bacteria as well as bad odors.
- Another advantage to highlight is the fact that it does not require a maintenance of the installation as it happens in the gas systems and the heat losses are minor because there are no ducts, valves or radiators.
- This wavelength range between 50-1000 ⁇ m has a strong penetration against organic materials including the human body and acts useful as an aid to the body by favoring the human metabolism with said wavelength range.
- the source of electric heat as an electrical circuit is associated with at least one solar collection plate, so that it allows to further reduce the energy consumption necessary to perform the heating function.
- the removable plate is made of aluminum, also being provided with lighting means electrically powered through an electrical source independent of the electrical circuit for the plate, so that it can be used as a point of light and placed in a centered manner on the ceiling of a room or enclosure.
- lighting means electrically powered through an electrical source independent of the electrical circuit for the plate, so that it can be used as a point of light and placed in a centered manner on the ceiling of a room or enclosure.
- the removable plate comprises a heat insulating layer located on the outer surface on the opposite side of the radiating heat emission side.
- Said insulating layer is made of fiberglass coated with a fiberglass mesh.
- the removable plate is provided with a smoke detector, thus increasing the possibilities of using the heating system.
- the regulating means for the electric heater consist of a thermostat that can be of the type of remote control allowing to regulate in a simple and fast way according to the needs of the user at all times.
- the quick installation / removal means consist of a support plate to be fixed on a surface as a ceiling or side wall fixed through screws elements, said support plate being formed by a plurality of nerves along the entire perimeter of the support plate at whose free end a flexible flange perpendicular to the nerve is included such that in an assembly condition, the electric heater is fixedly and relatively easily coupled to the support plate the user. In this way, the user can easily extract or place the electric heater for transport and location at any other desired point, a fact that until now is not known.
- Figure 1. It is a sectional view corresponding to the electric heater of the heating system for interior enclosures in accordance with the present invention;
- Figure 2. It is a schematic elevation view of the heating system in an interior enclosure;
- Figure 3. It is a schematic side elevational view of the rapid installation / removal system of the heating system for interior enclosures;
- Figure 4.- Is an isometric view of an example of the location of the heating system of the invention.
- Figure 5. It is a view of a second example of the location of the heating system on a balcony of a residential building.
- an embodiment of the system of the invention comprises an electric heater generally indicated by 1 structured in a laminar form as follows from the following description.
- Said electric heater 1 which is formed by a removable plate 2 with a rectangular plant, for example, with a dimension of 60x120 cm. , provided with a heating layer 3 and a radiation heat emission layer 4 that emits radiant heat when an electric heat source is applied as an electrical circuit of multiple conductive cables in the heating layer 3, being provided with regulating means of radiant heat intensity emitted and rapid placement / removal means that will be described later.
- the radiant heat emitted is infrared radiation within a wavelength range between 50-1000 ⁇ m.
- the electric heater is provided with a surface relief coating layer 5 located on the outermost surface of the radiation heat emission layer, said layer 5 being made from a mixture of S ⁇ O 2 and CaO 2 and a heat insulating layer 6 located on the outer surface on the opposite side of the radiating heat emission side that can be made of fiberglass coated with a fiberglass mesh .
- the dimensions of the electric heater assembly 1 could vary in such a way that the width and length measurements corresponding to an individual plate of a false ceiling of the type which is formed by a plurality of such plates arranged matrixally so that the place corresponding to one of the plates was occupied by an electric heater so that its assembly would be even easier and without requiring any additional space or use of screws.
- the electric heat source as an electrical circuit is associated with a solar collection plate, for example of a photovoltaic type, provided with its corresponding converter so that the electrical energy is supplied by means of renewable energy.
- the assembly of the solar collection plate and the energy converter is generally represented by the number 13 in Figure 2. Obviously, the converter will transport the electricity through the cable 14 connected to the electric heater 1.
- the heating layer 3 is made of Nichrome wires (Nickel, Iron and Chrome alloy) covered with synthetic resin that has excellent thermal resistance, flexibility and low chemical / physical variation.
- the removable plate 2 is provided with a smoke detector 7 of a known type, so that it is not going to go into greater detail in its explanation, so that it has greater versatility.
- the regulation means they consist of a remote control thermostat 8 interconnected by infrared or radiofrequency with respect to the receiver housed in the removable plate 2, whose thermostat has a housing provided with a display and buttons for its regulation so that the User can regulate the heating intensity.
- the removable plate 2 can be advantageously provided in addition to lighting means electrically powered through an electrical source independent of the electrical circuit for the electric heater 1, such means being a plurality of LED lights or conventional bulbs 9 (not shown) whereby which has greater versatility compared to heating systems known in the art.
- a support plate 10 that can be fixed on a surface as a ceiling or side wall fixed through screws elements, said plate being support 10 formed by a plurality of projecting ribs 11 along the entire perimeter of the support plate 9, more particularly a projecting rib 11 on each side of the support plate 10, at whose free end of each projecting rib 11 a flexible flange 12 perpendicular to the rib 11 and which is oriented in an inward direction, so that in a mounting condition, the electric heater 1 is fixedly attached to the support plate 10.
- the system described above can be installed indoors and outdoors, having an effectiveness to any other known heating system, being especially useful in outdoor areas since traditional systems are not effective when placed in outdoor areas or enclosures.
