Abstract

L'invention porte sur un dispositif et un procédé qui permettent de dissocier de l'eau en ses composants hydrogène et oxygène gazeux afin d'économiser le combustible nécessaire aux chauffe-eau. Le procédé précité fait appel à la chaleur résiduelle des chauffe-eau pour préchauffer de l'eau pressurisée en un flux contrôlé à travers un tube économiseur en acier inoxydable enroulé autour de la paroi interne de la cheminée. L'extrémité avant de l'enroulement précité est reliée en communication fluidique à un tube surchauffeur droit en acier inoxydable qui passe de manière concentrique à travers le tube de fumée externe plus grand, effectue un demi-tour vers le tube de fumée interne du chauffe-eau, sort à l'extrémité ouverte avant dudit tube de fumée, et vient se raccorder en communication fluidique au tube d'expansion enroulé dans la chambre de combustion, où la vapeur surchauffée se dilate et se dissocie en hydrogène et en oxygène gazeux entre 710° F et 1200° F. Les gaz dissociés sont relâchés par l'orifice de sortie de la chambre d'expansion et dirigés vers la base de la flamme du combustible en train de brûler afin de s'enflammer et entraîner une combustion complète du combustible fossile.
