Abstract

The invention relates to a screw lid for beverage cans, formed by three interconnected parts, namely: an internally threaded cap (1) and a horizontal peripheral skirt forming a seal, an externally double-threaded intermediary part (2) and a central skirt with an upper projection and a lower channel, and a part in the form of an internally threaded lock/attach nut (3). The intermediary part (2) forms the central shaft which is fitted like a neck into the opening in the upper part (5) of the can, while the cap (1) and the lock nut (3) are fitted by screwing same to the upper and lower ends respectively. The lid is provided with a gasket or ring (17) positioned between the can and the intermediary part in order to establish a seal.
