Abstract

Verfahren zur Verarbeitung empfangener elektromagnetischer Strahlung 1 aufweisend mehrere Trägerwellen im Frequenzbereich zwischen 0.1 und 10 Terahertz und auf die Trägerwellen aufmodulierter Information einer Signalfrequenz von weniger als 50 GHz, insbesondere von weniger als 1 GHz, wobei mittels eines im Frequenzbereich zwischen 0.1 und 10 Terahertz durchstimmbaren Filters eine einzelne der Trägerwellen als Terahertzsignal aus der empfangenen Strahlung 1 herausgefiltert wird und wobei das herausgefilterte Terahertzsignal einem für die Signalfrequenz sensiblen Detektionsverfahren zugeführt wird.
