Abstract
The invention relates to a method for checking the degree of tiredness of a person operating a device, wherein the eyes of said person are monitored by means of a camera, the result is analysed by means of a computer and where necessary a warning is given to the person. At a screen working station in addition to the monitoring of the eyes the operating sequence of the device connected to the screen is monitored wherein all data called up is compared with data stored in the computer and a warning advice is displayed on the screen when given thresholds are passed below or a warning signal is given. In particular, the closing of the eyelids is monitored by camera.
