Abstract
Dynamic neck tension relief pillow, comprising a moving mechanism and an ordinary pillow (8), either placed on the moving mechanism by the user himself (fig. 1,3,4) or permanently incorporated to the moving mechanism (fig. 1,3,4), wherein the pillow position being balanced parallel to the neck through cyclic movement because of the weight of the user's head and the slope of the pillow being 0° (fig. 3a).
Claims
AMENDED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on 05 November 2009 (05.11.2009)
1. The dynamic neck tension relief pillow is characterised by the fact that is constituted from an elevation unit of a coherent whole of
5. two parts of base (1) and the upper level (2), which due to its materials and shape of acute angle of its construction, it operates as a spring it elevates until it balances - without a load - side (M) of level (2) from 0° to 45° angle (n) towards the mattress in a stand-by position, it is constituted from sleeping pillow (8) which is placed from the user, it is
10. either located permanently attached onto the unit, having as a driving force the user's weight from neck and head, it is moving circularly eccentric till 0° angle (n) onto the mattress by leaving a void (Ia) and forming a curve (8a) as much similar as possible to the user's neck curve, whereas while we sleep on it the position of sleeping pillow (8)
15. balances parallel to the user's neck and head; at the same time it balances vertically with the mattress, and if it is discharged from load, it is elevated on its own in a stand-by position.
2. The dynamic neck tension relief pillow, according to claim 1, is characterized by the fact that is constituted from the flexible cord
20. (11) from the adjuster (3), which is a common button cord from the supporting component (5) and the stopper (10), the cord (11) connects both parts, in the first is held and in the other is based; in the point where is based, we fasten on it the adjuster (3) with which we hold smaller or bigger length of cord (11) and at the same time we increase
25. or decrease the unit's angle (n) when this is in stand-by position from 0° to 45° angle towards the mattress, by increasing or decreasing the length of horizontal movement as well towards the horizontal length that the user's neck and head formed onto the sleeping pillow's surface
(8) during their descent to 0° angle (n), due to circularly eccentric movement between them, which precedes and as dynamic movement is attributed in the user's neck when he sleeps on it.
5. 3. The dynamic neck tension relief pillow, according to claims 1 and 2 is characterized by the fact that the upper surface of sleeping pillow (8) is moving circularly eccentric when its side (M) is descending under the user's neck and head pressure and it forms a 0° angle towards the mattress, by eliminating the horizontal forces that
10. affect the neck or it balances parallel to the user's neck and head by trying to stretch the neck by slightly pushing him away opposite from the direction of our vertebral column while the user is sleeping on it, if the length of horizontal movement that the sleeping pillow's (8) upper side has crossed is bigger than the length of horizontal movement that
15. the user's neck and head formed, whereas at the same time it balances vertically between the neck with the head and the mattress.
4. The dynamic neck tension relief pillow, according to claims 1 and 2 is characterised by the fact that is constituted from an elevation unit of two separate parts, that of base (1) and the upper level (2)
20. connected between them through a hinge (7), suspended side (M) balances without load through a mechanism and a pulling rubber (4) in an angle from 0° to 45° is held with the adjuster (3) when this is at the stand-by position, with the user's neck and head weight it lowers at 0° angle (n) until it balances vertically with the mattress' level, at the same
25. time however, due to the eccentric descending movement between them in the sleeping pillow's (8) upper surface where they attach, it balances and parallel to the neck by discharging it from horizontal applied forced while the user sleeps on it.
5. The dynamic neck tension relief pillow, according to claims 1, 2 and 4 is characterised by the fact that the mechanism is constituted from the stable support (6), the pulling rubber (4), the adjuster (3), the
5. pulling rubber (4) is held in the upper level (2) in side (M), is mounted onto the support (6) where is based, we shorten or lengthen manually the rubber's (4) length, this reduces or increases the distance between levels (1 and 2) and we adjust in which height side (M) balances from 0° to 45° by reducing or increasing the angle (n), which is held in
10. support (6) by fastening the adjuster (3) onto the rubber (4), when the elevation unit is at the stand-by position.
6. The dynamic neck tension relief pillow, according to claims 1, 2 and 4 is characterised by the fact that the mechanism is constituted from a perforated stable support (6), the movable bending support (9),
15. which is connected with side (M) of upper level (2) and is based within the stable perforated support (6), from the pulling rubber (4), which is held onto the support's edge (6), it is based onto the lower part of movable support (9) and even though it is removable is based exactly onto the opposite side of support (6) manually we reduce or lengthen
20. the rubber's length (4), the movable support (9) increases or decreases the length between levels (1 and 2), in this way we adjust by reducing or increasing the angle (n), which we hold when side (M) balances elevated by fastening the adjuster (3) onto the rubber (4) when the elevating unit is at the stand-by position onto the mattress.
25. 7. The dynamic neck tension relief pillow, according to claims 1,
2 and 4 is characterised by the fact that the mechanism is constituted from spiral springs which we place them parallel towards the hinges' imaginary axle (7) and they function as twisting springs where one of
their end steps onto base (I)5 whereas with their other end they elevated one side (M) of the unit's upper level (2) in stand-by position and it balances without load from angle 0° to 45°, it is constituted from cord
5. (H)5 from the adjuster (3) with which we hold the angle's (n) inclination, which we adjust when the unit is at the stand-by position.
8. The dynamic neck tension relief pillow, according to claims I5 2 and 4, is characterised by the fact that it is optionally constituted from additions, which are placed by the user, whenever and whether wishes
10. to, between levels (1 and 2) onto the level's (1) cover parallel towards the hinges' (7) axle creating a support by increasing or decreasing its height when the unit is at stand-by position, so as when we use the unit, level (2) from stand-by position, it ends its eccentric descending course onto the additions in an angle (n) where the user by previously adding
15. or removing or transferring the additions has predetermined from 0° to 45° and balances with the neck and head but at the same time it balances with the user's neck, whilst it forms an inclined level during its use towards the mattress' level.
