Definitions

  • the dosing unit is a controlled evaporator. This achieves timely and precise dosing of the anesthetic gas.
  • a constant volume of anesthetic gas can be applied during the inspiration phase.
  • the further applied volume of anesthetic gas during the inspiration phase can be adapted to the current flow of the respiratory gas.
  • the evaluation device can in case of apnea of the patient or disconnection of the respiratory system or missing or faulty respiratory parameters the dosing unit can be switched off and an alarm signal can be generated.
  • FIG. 2 shows a ventilation and anesthesia system with an evaluation device of respiratory parameters of a patient-near sensor
  • FIG. 3 shows a time diagram for the representation of a time-synchronous application of anesthetic gas, as the ventilation and anesthesia system shown in FIG. 1 permits
  • FIG. 4 shows a time diagram for the representation of a flow synchronous application of anesthetic gas, as shown in FIG Ventilation and anesthesia system allows.
  • a constant volume of anesthetic gas is applied during the inspiration phase.
  • the application is stopped.
  • the volume of anesthetic gas to be applied is injected according to the dimension of the inspired flow. The area under the curve is a measure of the inspired volume. Synchronization of the anesthetic application with the flow pattern increases the effectiveness of the application because the anesthetic gas is distributed and absorbed in proportionate amount to the respiratory gas in the lungs.
  • the application is stopped.
  • the application is time-synchronized, flow-synchronous or time-synchronized and flow-synchronous to the inspiration and is completely stopped if no respiratory information is detected by the evaluation device, eg. B. when there is an assumption of apnea or the patient ventilator is no longer connected to the patient.
