Description

DESCRIPTION
CARTRIDGE LOADING MECHANISM FOR SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUNS, WHICH ENABLES LOADING CARTRIDGES WITH SINGLE HAND WITHOUT GIVING UP THE SHOOTING POSITION
Related invention is the cartridge loading mechanism for semi automatic shotguns which enables loading bullet with single hand and without giving up the shooting position, which consists for five independent elements that act together in integrity and is designed as away from complexity for the sake of easy installation, and not affected from powder gases in the rifle thanks to its location.
At present, there are many systems related with loading cartridges to the chargers of semi-automatic rifles. One of the biggest lacks of these systems is, due to the characteristics of the cartridge loading mechanisms in our era, the shooting position is required to be given up in order to load cartridge to the rifle.
The biggest difference of the cartridge loading mechanism that we invented is that it enables loading cartridge without giving up the shooting position.
In the known level of technique, in the mechanisms currently in use, as the loading spoon of the barrel and the loading spoon of the magazine function interdependently; therefore, the magazine's loading spoon is affected from the movements of the barrel loading spoon during shooting and it is damaged in time.
Related invention, the magazine loading spoon used for loading cartridges to the magazine and the barrel loading spoon, which charges the cartridge from the magazine to the barrel function independently; so the magazine loading spoon is prevented from being affected and damaged due to the movements of the barrel loading spoon during shooting.
On the current systems of our era, the cartridge loading mechanisms are exposed to powder gas during firing due to their locations in the rifle, and they are influenced from the residues of the powder gas in the mouth of the barrel; and so, they may misfire from time to time.
However, the bullet loading mechanism that we have invented eliminates this well known technical defect by positioning the cartridge loading mechanism over the trigger group, where it is not affected from powder gases. The required figures and explanations to better understand the invented cartridge loading mechanism for semi automatic shotguns which enables loading bullet with single hand and without giving up the shooting position are as follows: Figure-1 Overview of the invented cartridge loading mechanism for semi automatic shotguns which enables loading bullet with single hand and without giving up the shooting position, as installed in the rifle casing. Figure-2 Overview of the barrel loading spoon Figure-3 Overview of the magazine loading spoon Figure-4 Overview of the magazine loading spoon's pressure spring Figure-5 Overview of the cartridge holding sheet Figure-6 Overview of the cartridge holding internal sheet The pieces on the figures, which enable better understanding of the invention, are numbered and the short definitions of the numbers are as follows:

21. Barrel The first one of the 5 main elements that make up the cartridge loading mechanism for semi automatic shotguns which enables loading bullet with single hand and without giving up the shooting position is the barrel loading spoon (1) that draws the cartridge (19) from the magazine (20) to the barrel (21) mouth.
There are two barrel loading spoons-trigger group connection holes (6) that enable installing this "u" shaped spoon with one end open and the other end closed to the trigger group through its open side. On the closed side, there is the specially shaped internal section (7) of the barrel loading spoon (1) which receives the cartridge (19) from the magazine (20) to the barrel (21) mouth in a healthy manner.
Another piece is the magazine loading spoon (2). This spoon resembles to a downsized barrel loading spoon (1) and it has two magazine loading spoon- trigger group connection holes (8) which enable its connection to the trigger group. On the same side, there is an extension and on this extension, there is magazine loading spoon's pressure spring socket (10) where the initial end (12) of the magazine loading spoon's pressure spring (3) is attached. The covered XV shaped other magazine loading spoon is a pressure piece of cartridge loading (11) and it is designed so as not to damage the user's hand during loading.
The third element is the Magazine loading spoon's pressure spring (3). It is installed to the trigger group through the magazine loading spoon pressure spring connection hole (13). The other end of the magazine loading spoon (14) is attached to the socked on the trigger group and the first end of the magazine loading spoon (12) is attached to the magazine loading spoon's spring socked (10) on the magazine loading spoon (2), so the spoon is continuously kept under pressure and unintended actions are prevented.
The fourth piece is the cartridge holder sheet (4). It is curved in "u" shape. On one end, it has the pressure protrusion with a determined angle (15). In the middle section, it has cartridge loading sheet-rifle case installation hole (16) which enables installation to the casing of the rifle.
The last piece is the cartridge holder internal sheet (5). The cartridge holder protrusion (18) on one end is curved in a manner to prevent unintended ejection of the cartridge from the magazine. In the middle section, there is a cartridge holder internal sheet socket (17) that acts as a bed for the cartridge loading sheet-rifle casing installation hole (16). It is installed in the cartridge holder sheet (4) and fixed; thus turned into an integral component.
In order to load cartridge (19) to the magazine (20), the cartridge (19) is pushed towards the inside of the magazine loading spoon (2) as shown in Figure 1 on the direction of the arrow; then the magazine loading spoon (2) moves upwards and enables the magazine loading spoon's pressure component (9) to retract the cartridge holder sheet protrusion (15) on the cartridge holder sheet (4). With this movement, the cartridge holder sheet (4) is also retracted, thus the barrel loading spoon (1) is set free and so, the cartridges (19) can be loaded into the magazine (20).
With the retraction of the lever of the mechanism; the cartridge (19) from the magazine (20) is transferred on the barrel loading spoon (1). With the upwards action of the barrel loading spoon (1) the cartridge (19) arrives at the mouth of the barrel (21). And the firing is realized. This action of the barrel loading spoon (1) continues until there are not any cartridges (19) left in the magazine (20). When there are not any cartridges (19) left in the rifle's magazine (20), just the magazine loading spoon (2) is required to be pressed with a slight upwards movement in order to close the remaining mechanism.
