Abstract

The present invention is a method of transmitting a synchronization channel from a transmitter in a wireless communication system that uses a multi-carrier, and comprises the steps of: generating one multi-carrier symbol that includes at least two sub-synchronization channels, and transmitting the multi-carrier symbol to a receiver through the sub-synchronization channels. Through the method, the transmitter is able to increase the data transmission rate of a synchronization channel by efficiently using wireless resources.
