Definitions
- the sea wave energy sensing system of the invention of the type that takes advantage of the energy of the upward and downward movement that is produced on the surface of the sea by the effect of the waves and converts it into current electrical, consists of multiple semi-submerged cylindrical or tubular floats aligned and joined together by their ends by means of cardan joints or joints, which allow rotation and relative inclination between each two floats, said floats carry laterally and longitudinally at least two horizontal fins or plates,
- the system is fastened anchored to the floats at the bottom of the sea by means of cables or chains, between each two elements of the joints are placed hydraulic actuators or hammers moved by the relative movement of the floats in the joints, which pump water under pressure, they concentrate it, drive a hydraulic motor and this to a generator, some cond Isolated uctors carry electric current to the coast.
- the fins rest on a large surface or body of water forcing the floats to follow the wave ripples
- one or several tubes of smaller section can be used, which conveniently have independent hydraulic and electrical conduits.
- a label joint can preferably be used. Rings or rings can also be used. The rotation around the longitudinal axis is achieved by freely rotating one of the ends of the joint or by placing a ball joint.
- the horizontal fins or plates must have their rounded edges to avoid damage, they can also be curved, or they can be topped by perpendicular plates, with their edges equally rounded. Two or more side plates can be used.
- the fins can extend laterally in zigzag.
- Detachable fins can be used, usually held by screws. This facilitates transport.
- the fins may be hollow to provide complementary flotation of that of the floats.
- the floats can be cylindrical or oval section crushed vertically.
- the stabilization is achieved by means of the moorings in the lower zone of the float cylinders and placing the equipment and fins in the lower zone when they are heavy and in the upper one if they are less heavy than water.
- the characteristic of the waves is used to go towards the coast, however, the one-end system can be anchored and fastened to the bottom of the sea.
- the mooring can be constituted by a chain with flexible and large-sized amulas, which makes it very elastic.
- Anticorrosive, stainless, thermoplastic materials, etc. will be used. or metallic stainless or coated with other anticorrosive, stainless, thermoplastic, etc.
