Abstract

The present invention concerns a linear actuator (200). The linear actuator comprises a base frame (210) wherein a stator (241), which is a permanent magnet, is installed, a movable table (250) wherein a rotor (243) is installed to have clearance with the stator (241), a linear motion guide (220) which is placed in the base frame (210) and the movable table (250), and a location detection unit which detects the movable table (250). In the base frame (210), an insertion groove (217) is formed in the longitudinal direction thereof and an iron piece (247) is fastened therein. The stator (241) is magnetically attached to the iron piece (247). Since a plurality of bolts for installing the stator (241) are not necessary, installation is facilitated and shortened and the number of components is reduced. Furthermore, installation of the linear motion guide is simplified by inserting a linear shaft (221) in the installation member (213), then integrating a roller in guide block (223) with the movable table (250). Accordingly, the height of the movable table (250) is lowered and the influence of momentum is minimized in acceleration or deceleration.
