Abstract

La présente invention concerne un peptide de formule générale (I) : R1-(AA)n-X1-X2- X3-PrO-X4-X5-X7-(AA)P-R2, dérivé d'une protéine de la famille des aquaporines. La présente invention concerne également une composition cosmétique, nutraceutique ou pharmaceutique, comprenant un peptide de formule générale (I), en tant qu'agent actif. L'invention est également relative à l'utilisation de ce nouvel agent actif dans une composition cosmétique ou nutraceutique destinée à améliorer l'hydratation et la fonction barrière de l'épiderme et à stimuler la régénération cutanée. L'invention est également relative à l'utilisation de ce nouvel agent actif, pour la réalisation d'une composition pharmaceutique, et notamment dermatologique, destinée à traiter les sécheresses pathologiques de la peau ou des muqueuses. L'invention porte encore sur un procédé de traitement cosmétique destiné à prévenir et/ou à lutter contre la sécheresse de la peau et des muqueuses, et les manifestations du vieillissement cutané.
