Description

Description CHINAWARE MASSAGE PLATE
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a chinaware massage plate, and more particularly, to a chinaware massage plate that is adapted to cause the friction against a user s skin, thereby allowing diet cream applied on the user s skin to be penetrated well therethrough, allowing the cellulite formed under the dermis to be dissolved, and accelerating the circulation of lymph in the sacral lymphatic vessels and the circulation of venous blood in the veins.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Diet cream is developed and marketed by this applicant, which is made of oriental medicine such as adlay, artemisiae herba, peach kernels, amomi frucrus, and the like, such that when applied on a user s skin, it is absorbed to the user s skin to dissolve his or her body fat and accelerate the metabolism of the body fat (see a collection of scientific publication issued by International beauty and health association, the analysis of the effect of 2006 oriental medicine slimming products on the weight management, second Seoul pharmaceutist scientific seminar, the drugstore business activation plan through successful introduction of 2006 cosmetics for drugstores).
[4]
[5] When the diet cream is applied just on the epidermis where cellulite (which is the lumpy substance formed by the collection of waste matters or water around the fat cells under the dermis) or subcutaneous fat is much accumulated, a substantially high diet effect can be obtained. In this case, however, if the diet cream is massaged by a smooth chinaware surface after applied to the user s skin, it can be more easily penetrated through the skin and the cellulite or the subcutaneous fat can be dissolved well and moved by the physical friction through the massaging, and moreover, the circulation of lymph in the lymphatic vessels and the circulation of venous blood in the veins can be more accelerated.
[6]
[7] A variety of conventional ceramic massage implements have been developed and introduced. Korean Utility Model Registration No.20-249551 discloses a massage implement including a round dish-like ceramic body and a grip hole formed on one side of the ceramic body, Korean Utility Model Registration No.20-249482 discloses a massage implement including a round dish-like body made of ceramic, glass and synthetic resin material and a plurality of protrusions and grooves formed on the both ends of the body, and Korean Utility Model Registration No.20-410044 discloses a massage implement including a multi-layered friction unit having a grip hole formed at the center thereof and protrusions and grooves formed along the periphery of the unit body. In this case, the conventional massage implements apply a frictional force to the skin through the smooth dish periphery or the irregular dish periphery, thereby allowing local subcutaneous fat to be destroyed and causing muscles to be stimulated. However, when the conventional massage implements are used together with the above-mentioned diet cream invented by this applicant, they have the following disadvantages:
[8]
[9] First, it is very difficult to hold the conventional massage implements. According to
Korean Utility Model Registration No.20-249551 and Korean Utility Model Registration No.20-410044, the grip hole are formed at the center of the body, but when a user s finger is inserted into the grip hole, it is difficult to stably hold the massage implements. It is also difficult to effectively massage a body region where a user s hand does not reach easily.
[10]
[11] Next, the conventional massage implements are not adequate to the massaging for the lymph. The lymph system has a close relation with the cardiovascular system, which is an auxiliary circulating system assisting the blood circulation. In most cases, since a fluid supplying from the capillary vessels to the tissues is larger than that supplying from the tissues to the capillary vessels, an extra tissue fluid exists on each tissue of a human body, and the extra tissue fluid is circulated through the lymph system. The lymph system is composed of lymphatic fluid, lymphatic vessels, and lymph nodes, and among them, the lymphatic fluid contains water, dead cells, fat, protein, salt, sugar, urea, lymphocyte, etc. If the lymphatic fluid is not smoothly circulated, fat is easily accumulated under the skin, which is a cause of the formation of the cellulite. The lymphatic vessels serve to convey the lymphatic fluid absorbed from the capillary lymphatic vessels (which are the ends of the lymphatic vessels) to vena cava through the contraction and relaxation of valves (which form flowing in one direction) and muscles, and the lymph nodes serve to produce the lymphocyte protecting the human body from causative agent and to dissolve and remove causative agent, focus, dead cells, waste matters in the lymphatic fluid before the lymphatic fluid is fed to the vena cava.
[12]
[13] The lymph massaging is performed by using the valves protecting the reverse flowing of the lymph in the lymphatic vessels, which applies uniform and gentle pressure to the sacral lymphatic vessels in one direction, while moving from the region distant from the heart to the region near thereto by using a massage implement. Therefore, so as to perform the lymph massaging, the massage implement should have a shape conforming to the skin curve of each region of the human body. That is, so as to effectively perform the lymph massaging, the massage implement should have the massage portions capable of coming into close contact with the skin curve of each body region including a leg, shoulder, arm, chin, foot or hand, finger or toe, and so on. However, the conventional massage implements are provided just with the protrusions and grooves formed along the outer periphery thereof, without having the lymph massaging, such that it is difficult to come into close contact with the skin curve of each region of the human body, which fails to uniformly and smoothly massage the lymphatic vessels and the lymph nodes distributed under the skin. [14]
[15]
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[16] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a chinaware massage plate that is stably held by a user s hand and performs a massaging operation even on a body region where the user s hand does not reach easily.
[17]
[18] It is another object of the present invention to provide a chinaware massage plate that comes into close contact with the skin curve on each region of a user s body such as a leg, shoulder, arm, chin, foot or hand, and the like, over a substantially large contact area, while applying a uniform pressure thereto, thereby performing lymph massaging rapidly and effectively.
[19]
Technical Solution
[20] To achieve the above objects, according to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a chinaware massage plate including: a body having a through-hole formed at the center portion thereof; and a loop type elastic band adapted to be inserted into the through-hole so as to be coupled on the back of a user s hand, when the chinaware massage plate is held by the user s hand.
[21]
[22] According to the present invention, preferably, the chinaware massage plate further includes a plurality of body curve-contacting portions curved inwardly along the outer edge thereof in such a manner as to come into close contact with the skin curves of a leg, shoulder, arm, chin, foot and hand, thereby performing the massaging for lymphatic vessels, lymph nodes and blood vessels of veins, under a uniform pressure. [23]
Advantageous Effects
[24] According to the present invention, therefore, there is provided the chinaware massage plate that is stably and rigidly held by a user s hand, without applying any force thereto, thereby performing a massaging operation with ease, and that performs the massaging even on a body region where the user s hand does not reach easily. Moreover, the chinaware massage plate of this invention comes into close contact with the skin curve on each region of a user s body to be massaged, over a substantially large contact area, while applying a uniform pressure thereto, thereby rapidly and effectively performing the lymph massaging for the lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes distributed on each body region.

[32]
Mode for the Invention
[33] Hereinafter, an explanation on a chinaware massage plate according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be given with reference to the attached drawing.
[34]
[35] FIG.1 is a perspective view showing the front surface of a chinaware massage plate according to the present invention, FIG.2 is a perspective view showing the rear surface of the chinaware massage plate according to the present invention, FIGS. 3 and 4 are perspective views showing the methods for holding the chinaware massage plate according to the present invention, FIG.5 is a plan view showing body curve- contacting portions and skin-rubbing portions on the chinaware massage plate according to the present invention, FIG.6 is a bottom view showing body curve- contacting portions and a protruding line on the chinaware massage plate according to the present invention, and FIG.7 is an exemplary view showing the use state wherein the body curve-contacting portions come into close contact with the body regions.
[36]
[37] Referring to FIG.1, a chinaware massage plate 1 according to the present invention has first to fourth body curve-contacting portions 5, 7, 9 and 11, skin-rubbing portions 3 and 13, a through-hole 15 formed at the center portion thereof, and a loop type elastic band 21 inserted into the through-hole 15.
[38]
[39] Referring to FIG.2, the chinaware massage plate 1 has a protruding line 17 formed on the rear surface thereof, and the protruded skin-rubbing portion 13 of the skin-rubbing portions 3 and 13 has a finger seat 19 formed on the rear surface thereof.
[40]
[41] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, when the chinaware massage plate 1 is held by a user s hand, the elastic band 21 is coupled to the back of the user s hand, and the part of the fingers is caught on the protruding line 17. In this case, the chinaware massage plate 1 having a relatively large area can be easily and safely held by the user s hand and also can be used even on a body region where the user s hand does not reach well.
[42]
[43] Referring to FIGS.4a and 4b, the first to fourth body curve-contacting portions 5, 7, 9 and 11 are curved inwardly along the outer edge of the chinaware massage plate 1, and they have the sections of the curves conforming to the skin curves of a leg, shoulder, arms, chin, foot, and hand. For example, the first body curve-contacting portion 5 has curvature conforming to the arm and the lower body, the second body curve-contacting portion 7 has curvature conforming to the thigh and shoulder, the third body curve- contacting portion 9 has curvature conforming to the fingers, toes, hand edges, and foot edges, and the fourth body curve-contacting portion 11 has curvature conforming to the left and right lines of the chin. As a result, the massage plate can come into close contact with the curves of the body regions to be massaged, over a substantially large contact area, while applying a uniform pressure thereto, thereby performing the lymph massaging for the lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes distributed on each body region.
[44]
[45] The skin-rubbing portions 3 and 13 are classified into the saw tooth type skin- rubbing portion 3 and the protrusion type skin-rubbing portion 13. The saw tooth type skin-rubbing portion 3 is formed over a relatively large area along the outer edge of the chinaware massage plate 1 so as to cause the friction against a large body region like a belley, thighs, etc., thereby destroying cellulite and subcutaneous fat accumulated thereon. The protrusion type skin-rubbing portion 13 is formed over a relatively small area so as to cause the friction against a local body region like the region under eyes, the region around a nose, etc., thereby destroying the subcutaneous fat accumulated thereon.
[46]
[47] The finger seat 19 formed on the rear surface of the chinaware massage plate 1 is a position to be pressurized by the user s fingers when the skin rubbing is performed through the protrusion type skin-rubbing portion 13.
[48]
[49] Under the above-mentioned configuration, as shown in FIG.7, the chinaware massage plate 1 according to the present invention can easily destroy the cellulite under the skin and the subcutaneous fat and also can rapidly and effectively perform the lymph massaging for each body region, thereby allowing the lymphatic fluid to gently flow. Also, the chinaware massage plate 1 of this invention can simultaneously perform the massaging for the blood vessels of the veins formed adjacent to the lymphatic vessels, thereby improving the circulation of blood.
[50]
[51] While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
