Abstract
On variable capacity oil pumps for the lubricating oil supply of internal combustion engines, the oil pressure is regulated by a control piston. By way of a regulator that can be switched with respect to the action thereof by a solenoid valve and is disposed in the control pressure line to the control piston, the oil pressure can be switched, if necessary, to a controlled higher oil pressure level.
