Abstract

A compressive air spring, comprising a hollow working cylinder (1, 101), closed on one side with a first bottom (4, 104) and on the other side with a second bottom (5, 105) with a hole (6, 106) for a sealed piston rod (3, 103), its end protruding into the working cylinder (1, 101) is provided with a sliding piston (2, 102) fitted in the working cylinder (1, 101), the piston (2, 102) is provided with axial holes (8, 108), opposite which a sliding throttle element supported axially to control working medium flow through the axial holes (8, 108), whereas the throttle element is formed by a flat throttle ring (7, 107) arranged co-axially on the outer side of the piston rod (3, 103) between the piston (2, 102) and the end of an outer axially-movable defining tube (11, 111), fitted co-axially outwardly on the piston rod (3, 103) and going through the hole (6, 106) in the second bottom (5, 105), whereas an element defining stop position of the throttle ring (7, 107) is located between the piston (2, 102) and the throttle ring (7, 107), the element defining stop position of the throttle ring (7, 107) can be formed by an outer shoulder (13, 113) made up at one end of an;axially-movable inner defining tube (12, 112) fitted between the piston rod (3, 103) and the outer defining tube (11, 111), going through the hole of the throttle ring (7, 107), whereas the other end of the inner defining tube (12, 112) going through the hole (6, 106) in the second bottom (5, 105). Advantageously an additional throttle ring (60) for axially-sliding movement in the working cylinder (1) can be fitted opposite to the axial holes (8) on the side of the piston (2) opposite to the piston rod (3), whereas a spring (61) and a stop element, going through the axial hole (8) being provided between the throttle ring (7) and the additional throttle ring, (60) to set maximum distance between both rings.
