Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for correcting truncation artifacts in a dental X-ray CT apparatus, that provides a correction for truncation artifacts, which are caused by imaging deviation of a part of the head of a patient from the region of interest in the case of imaging an object, i.e. the head of a patient, with an LSF technique which enhances the edges of the reconfigured images.
