Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Gasbrenners, wobei dem Gasbrenner ein Gas-Verbrennungsluft-Gemisch zur Verbrennung im Gasbrenner zugeführt wird, und wobei mit Hilfe eines einen lonisationsstrom bereitstellenden lonisationssensors vorzugsweise eine Flamme des Gasbrenners überwacht wird. Erfindungsgemäß wird mit Hilfe des lonisationsstroms überwacht, ob eine stabile oder instabile Verbrennung im Gasbrenner vorliegt.
