Abstract

This invention relates to an optical lens system for a microscope. In this invention, a pin-hole iris and a lens are arranged and linked to each other in the optical lens system. The pin-hole iris reduces the width of a beam incident on an image sensing unit from a target sample through a built-in pin-hole. The lens reduces optical aberration of an enlarged sample image by preventing a beam, which passed through the pin-hole iris, from diffusing in a state when the lens is optionally placed before or behind (or both before and behind) the pin-hole iris. If necessary, the magnification of the enlarged sample image can consecutively be adjusted by the interval adjustment between the image sensing unit and those two elements (the pin-hole iris and the lens) in a state that the pin-hole iris and the lens are arranged to move together. This invention provides a high quality (well adjusted optical aberration) enlarged sample image, which can be adjusted at various magnifications not through a conventional complicated structure in which plural objective lens and an eye lens are combined with each other, but through an extremely simple structure in which a lens and a pin-hole iris are simply combined with each other in a lens system for a microscope. In addition, the size of the lens system can be reduced and a circuit module for the linkage with an external device can be arranged in the lens system easily. Consequently, through the linkage with other electronic devices, the role as a sample magnifier for improving the function of an electronic device can be fulfilled properly.
