Abstract

This invention relates to a fresh air duct (1) for supplying fresh air to the interior of a vehicle. It consists of a duct with a narrow inlet and a broad outlet connecting the blower of the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system to the outside atmosphere through a narrow opening provided at the junction of the bonnet (6) and leaf screen (5). The duct (1) is made in two-part and baffles (16) are provided to avoid water entering to the outlet (3) of the duct (1). A filter means (10) and drainage means (9) are provided at the exit end and at a port before the filter means (10) for removing suspended particles and rain water.
