Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for supporting, positioning and guiding a tool (1) which is mounted at one end of an axial support element (2), characterized in that the support device comprises: a base (4) which is intended to be positioned on the ground surface and above which is mounted at least one means (6) of articulation with a mast (3), and a means (5) for articulating the axial support element (2) of the tool (1) with the mast (3) mounted on the base (4), this articulation means (5) comprising at least one pivot pin (5b) of axis (A) which is mounted on the mast (3) of the device and which is positioned in a bore which passes perpendicularly through the axis of the support element (2) of the tool (1) so as to allow the axial support element (2) to move along a plane which is parallel to a plane containing the mast (3) of the device.
