Abstract

A thin film type solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same is disclosed, which is capable of realizing a simplified process, preventing a contamination of substrate caused by a laser-scribing process, and improving the yield without performing a cleaning process, wherein the method comprises forming a plurality of front electrodes at fixed intervals on a substrate; forming a semiconductor layer on an entire surface of the substrate; forming a contact part and a separating part in the semiconductor layer at the same time; and forming a plurality of rear electrodes at fixed intervals by the separating part interposed in-between, wherein the rear electrode is connected with the front electrode through the contact part.
