Abstract

Ce coussin (10) comprend deux parties attenantes, avec une partie inférieure (12) présentant une forme allongée suivant une direction longitudinale sensiblement parallèle au corps du sujet, et une partie tronculaire (14) prolongeant la partie inférieure côté proximal. La partie inférieure est destinée à soutenir un membre inférieur (42), droit ou gauche, du sujet, tandis que la partie tronculaire, qui s'étend en direction transversale de façon dissymétrique par rapport à la partie inférieure, soutient le côté homolatéral du thorax du sujet ainsi que son membre supérieur homolatéral (38). Le bord distal (46) de la partie tronculaire forme bord d'appui pour le haut du thorax du sujet, et le coussin est essentiellement dépourvu de partie apte à soutenir la tête (44) du sujet.
