Abstract

　本発明の目的は、リバースアイドラギヤをスライドさせて後退段を確立する際に、シフト操作力とストローク量とを両立できる選択摺動式リバースギヤシフト装置を提供することである。 　本発明の選択摺動式リバースギヤシフト装置は、リバースアイドラギヤ(１３)の両側面に当接可能な二股状のアーム部を持つリバースシフトアーム(２１)を備える。リバースシフトアーム(２１)は、リバースアイドラギヤ(１３)をリバース方向に押すアーム部(２１ｂ)を有し、このアーム部(２１ｂ)には、支軸(２０)からの距離の異なる第１当接部２２と第２当接部２３とが設けられる。この構成により、大きなシフト操作力を必要とする噛み合い初期においてはレバー比の大きな第１当接部(２２)でリバースアイドラギヤ(１３)を押し、大きなストロークを必要とする噛み合い終期においてはレバー比の小さな第２当接部(２３)で押すことにより、シフト操作力の低減とストローク量の確保とを両立させることができる。
