Abstract

A catalog generating device of engineers for listing techniques that belong to the engineers hierarchically from a big item to a small item and creating an engineer catalog describing the details of a technology component which is the minimum item. The catalog generating device comprises: (a) an engineer information management section for managing information on the engineers for generating the catalog; (b) a technique item management section for managing catalogs before registration, already registered, and after registration in which the techniques for acquiring a catalog are registered/managed hierarchically from the big item to the technology component; (c) a questionnaire management section for registering/managing questionnaires to the skills; (d) a catalog management section for managing catalogs which are associated with the engineers registered in the engineer information management section and arranged for each of the engineers; and (e) a catalog update section for, when the engineers accomplish a business using the technology component of any of the engineers, calling the catalog of the any of the engineers from the catalog management section, picking up the used technology component from the technique item management section according to the technology component in the business accomplished by the engineers, transmitting the questionnaire from the questionnaire management section to the picked up technology component, and updating the engineer catalog depending on the answer of the transmitted questionnaire.
