Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Anpassung einer Ausgangskennlinie eines Sensors, der eine Bewegung eines Messobjektes erfasst und in ein Ausgangssignal umsetzt, wobei sich aus der Bewegung des Messobjektes die Ausgangskennlinie ergibt, wobei erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen ist, dass die Ausgangskennlie des Sensors derart der Bewegung des Messobjektes angepasst wird, dass im Bewegungsbereich, der keine hohe Auflösung erfordert, eine vorgebbare Auflösung eingestellt wird, wobei in zumindest einem solchen Bewegungsbereich, in dem gegenüber dem anderen Bewegungsbereich eine höhere Auflösung erforderlich ist, eine gegenüber der vorgebbaren Auflösung höhere Auflösung der Ausgangskennlinie eingestellt wird.
