Definitions

  • the invention relates to a plastic extrusion for the interior and exterior of buildings.
  • microbes they are microscopic organisms with their own metabolism (except viruses) that are considered individual
  • microorganisms are bacteria (example: lactic acid bacteria used to make sour milk products), many mushrooms (example: yeasts used for fermentation and baking), microscopic algae (example: chlorella used to supplement food), and protozoa (example: paramecium Paramecium and the Malaria parasite Plasmodium).
  • viruses can also be counted or excluded as microorganisms.
  • the bacteria form one of the three basic domains into which all living things are divided today.
  • microbiology is used for all microscopic, mostly unicellular organisms that do not have a true nucleus and therefore belong to the prokaryotes.
  • archaea are one of the three domains of living organisms. They were formerly counted as bacteria and are called archaebacteria, but they differ from them in several respects (eg stability of membrane and cell wall structures, components of transcription and translation systems). ,
  • Fungi are eukaryotes and come like that
  • Baker's yeast as unicellular or as mycelium as Mehrzeller ago. Its propagation from propagation takes place sexually and asexually by spores or vegetatively by spread (possibly with fragmentation) of the in many cases very long-lived mycelia. Mushrooms are heterotrophic and feed mostly by excreting enzymes into their immediate environment, breaking up and absorbing polymeric, water-insoluble nutrients into the cells.
  • Mushrooms are distinguished from plants by their heterotrophic lifestyle without photosynthesis, and most by the presence of chitin in the cell wall. Among other things, they differ from the animals in the presence of a cell wall.
  • algae in a broader sense encompasses aquatic, eukaryotic, plant-like organisms that are photosynthetic but do not belong to the actual plants. In the narrower sense, this refers to numerous groups of protists.
  • the algae include both microscopic single-celled as well as multicellular, sometimes huge living things.
  • microorganisms by definition only one to a few cell algae are considered, they are referred to as microalgae.
  • Microalgae like all algae, photosynthesize, they use light as an energy source and are carbon autotrophic.
  • Protozoa also protozoa, is an outdated name because of their heterotrophic lifestyle and their mobility formerly regarded as animal protozoa, the no cell wall, but in contrast to the bacteria possess a nucleus, so are eukaryotes.
  • protozoa Of the approximately 40,000 “protozoan species” described, there are about 8,000 parasites, of which about 70 are parasitic in humans, and only about 40 infections by protozoa can cause disease.
  • viruses Since viruses have no independent metabolism and can not reproduce independently, they are often not considered as living things. They can not move, are usually transported by the wind or with body fluid. For propagation they need a host cell.
  • the viruses use their receptors to 'dock' to the host cell (key system), and in the case of DNA viruses, the DNA molecule of the virus migrates into the cell nucleus of the host cell and the viral DNA is incorporated into the DNA of the host cell A DNA molecule corresponding to an RNA molecule is formed, which is integrated into the host DNA, thereby reprogramming the host cell and forming new viruses, but viruses also possess characteristics of organisms, eg mutation, inheritance and gestalt formation.
  • microorganisms are considered useful for a variety of reasons. For example, many play a role in geochemical cycles (examples: nitrogen cycling, N 2 fixation, wastewater treatment), many are used in the food industry to produce certain foods, and in biotechnology microorganisms are used to produce antibiotics and industrial uses Substances used.
  • a small proportion of the microorganisms are pathogenic, i. These organisms cause disease in plants, animals or humans and therefore have a special nature
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a plastic extrusion of the type mentioned, which provides the required and desired and also necessary hygiene for the entire life of the plastic part.
  • the essence of the invention is to introduce the antimicrobial material into the molecular structure of the polymer to be extruded during extrusion, and thus to ensure antimicrobial activity throughout the life of the product.
  • the heat occurring during the extrusion is therefore utilized for introducing the antimicrobial material into the molecular structure of the polymer.
