 エアコンプレッサ1は、PAM制御とPWM制御とを用いてモータ部4の制御を行う制御部5を備える。制御部5は、モータ部4の駆動開始直後に行われるPWM制御のDuty値の上昇状況に応じて、PWM制御からPAM制御へと移行される条件となる電圧値を変更する。
