Abstract

Provided is a method of making a loess finishing material for an architectural interior decoration that decorates indoor of a building in order to do a finishing work. The method includes: 5 infusing rice straw and the bark of an elm tree in boiling water, to thus obtain juicy water; mixing refined loess powder of a grain size of 2mm or less with vermiculite of a granular form and gypsum powder of a grain size of 2mm or less, to thus obtain a mixture; pouring the juicy water into the mixture, to thus knead a mixture dough; filling the mixture dough up to a height of two third of a molding frame, putting a mesh net on the mixture dough, and then filling the mixture dough up to the upper end thereof; drying the mixture dough for 20-30 minutes and separating a molded board from the molding frame; and drying the molded board for 4-5 days in shade.
