Abstract

This aims to provide a run-flat tire (1) for improving a riding comfortableness while improving a run-flat durability. The run-flat tire (1) comprises a carcass (6), a belt layer (7) having two belt plies (7A and 7B) inside and outside of a tire radius, and a side-reinforcing rubber layer (11) having a substantially crescent section. The carcass (6) includes a carcass ply (6A) having carcass cords arrayed at an angle of 70 to 90 degrees with respect to the tire circumference direction and coated with topping rubber, and the carcass cords are made of aramid fiber cords having a twisting coefficient (T) of 0.50 to 0.70. The run-flat tire (1) further comprises a tread-reinforcing rubber layer (9) interposed between the belt layer (7) and the carcass (6) and having a hardness of 70 degrees or more and a loss tangent (tanδ) of 0.15 or less.
